I am from Nashville, Tennessee and I've been writing, taking photos, and shooting video since I was a kid. These things are my natural passions. Studying Journalism at Boston University allowed me to develop my skills in these areas so that I can turn passion into professional quality work. I love writing because I adore the structure of it, the editing until a sentence is as good as it can possibly get. I chose Journalism because it is a public good, and thus a good use of any writer's skills.  I love photography because it's a great way to connect with people. It is wonderful to take photos of a band, family, or person showing off their passion and share the photos with them. The joy it brings people to see their moments captured is irresistible. Video has the same effect for me, just in a different format.
